How this pickleball tournament bracket generator works
This pickleball tournament bracket generator rounds your team count up to the next power of two, then places any byes with the top seeds. Standard seeding pairs seed 1 with the last seed, seed 2 with the next-to-last and continues recursively so the strongest teams can meet only in the final.
Choose single elimination for one-loss events or double elimination when a team is out after two losses. Pickleball games are commonly played to 11, win by 2; organisers may use best of three to 11 for medal matches or a single game to 15, so set scoring separately for your event.
Bracket size = next power of two ≥ team count · byes = bracket size − team count · rounds = log₂(bracket size) Double elimination here treats the winners' bracket winner as having a one-game advantage in the final. If that team loses, a decider is played; organisers may set a different reset rule.

How are byes placed?
The bracket size is rounded up to the next power of two. Byes go to the top seeds in seed order, so seed 1 receives the first bye.
What does standard seeding mean?
Standard seeding pairs seed 1 with the last seed, seed 2 with the next-to-last and recursively keeps the top seeds on opposite halves until the final.
Can I use double elimination?
Yes. The interface labels the winners' bracket and explains that a team is out after two losses, with a reset game if the winners' bracket team loses the final.
What happens when I click a team?
A click marks that team as the winner of its current match so you can work through the bracket. The page does not save results or send them anywhere.
Can I print the bracket?
Yes. Generate the bracket, then choose Print bracket. The print view hides the setup controls and keeps the bracket output.
