This pickleball court conversion calculator uses the exact 20 ft by 44 ft playing surface. Start with the available area or the standard 60 ft by 120 ft tennis court fence, then choose blended lines, four dedicated courts or two courts across.
For a four-court conversion, the courts use the tennis area two across and two along. The calculator reports the offsets from the fence and the clearances between courts, then flags layouts that fall below the recommended minimum for comfortable play.
Net height matters: a tennis net is 36 inches at the centre while a pickleball net is 34 inches. Casual play over an unmodified tennis net is playable but not regulation; a centre strap can pull it to 34 inches.
